“Leading Towards Robotics Technologies” Final Pitching
The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) organised the Catch the Innovation Campaign (the Campaign), themed on “Leading Towards Robotics Technologies”, to promote innovation and creativity in using robotics technologies to enhance public services. The Campaign starts with a series of thematic forum, seminars and workshops, in parallel with an innovation competition (the Competition). The Competition is organised by the Smart Government Innovation Lab (Smart LAB) of the OGCIO. A total of 38 innovative proposals were received from 13 government bureaux and departments. The Smart LAB then matched the ten proposals shortlisted by the selection panel with the local technology industry for a six-month proof-of-concept developments. The final judging panel selected the winners today after listening to the presentation of the ten finalists on the progress and results of the proof-of-concept developments.
