Smart Hong Kong Pavilion at the InnoEX 2023
In order to publicise the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's efforts in promoting smart city development and facilitate exchange between the Government and different sectors of the community so as to further promote smart city development, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) set up the “Smart Hong Kong Pavilion” with various government departments at the InnoEX 2023. Apart from showcasing the innovative achievements delivered by various government departments, there was a series of winning entries in public competitions including the Hong Kong ICT Awards, the “Maker in China” SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Contest - Hong Kong Chapter and the Open Data Hackathon, with a view to recognising the innovative ideas and achievements of local innovators and encouraging the industry to develop more innovative solutions.
The "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" which was themed "Smarter ・ Hong Kong", focused on six areas: “Smart Living”, “Smart Mobility”, “Smart Environment”, “Smart People”, “Smart Government” and “Smart Economy”, featuring more than 100 innovative solutions for driving the smart city development in Hong Kong, including technology solutions adopted by government departments and winning exhibits from local innovators.
