Solution Description

Warehouse management system (WMS) help to manage material, inventory and goods in the warehouse. All stocks movement will be tracked and traced by using bar code or QR code. With the help of AGV system, a selected inventory could be located by the system and brought it out by AGV to designated location ready for pick up.

Warehouse management system can be connected to existing ERP or extended use with our MES and APS system.

Use Case

The software will be reorganized by assigning bar code tag on each shelf (we call it a “cell” of the storage rack in the warehouse). When placing inventory into the cell, worker need to scan the bar code assigned to the inventory and the cell. This process is to register the cell belonging. Similarly, when taking inventory out from the cell, bar code scan also needed. So that our system will record the movement of the inventory by who, when, where and why.

WMS could also connect to the AGV system, to call in AGV to pick up the inventory from one point to another point.

There are many possibilities on how to management warehouse, we can use combination of RFID (for counting stocks), Robotic arms (for placing stock on the AGV) and even smart 3D warehouse infrastructure. It is all depends on the actual needs to apply different solutions.
