Integrated Platform for Smart IT Tools and Big Data Analytics of Environmental Data
In the daily operation, separate sampling devices, IT tools, including drones, unmanned submarine, unmanned boat are being adopted to gather environmental information in various forms and channels. However, we lack a central platform to integrate the information gathered from these sampling devices and smart IT tools.
Environment
We would like to build a GIS based platform to facilitate information integration, as well as performing big data analytics on these environmental data. The platform should not only serve as a hub to integrate data, but also use 5G technology to enable the real-time communication of the smart IT tools with the platform. This will involve upgrade of our existing IT tools or purchase of new IT tools and devices. The platform will be hosted in a secured cloud server, but at the same time enable access of the platform through mobile devices. These mobile devices need to support 5G too, in order to utilise the advantage of the platform.
